Ann Arbor has no News
I heard on NPR that a Muslim girl (from Skyline? Oh my) reported she was attacked by a bunch of black kids on a bus in Ann Arbor… I looked on Ann Arbor Chronicle and on Ann Arbor.com, neither had any report of the incident. Kinda sad isn’t it? Ann Arbor.com is cute but worthless.
Idiot Proof Cars
I got in a friend’s Toyota the other day, saw a warning light on the dash and warned her about the light. She responded with “That light is always on for a few minutes each morning when I start the car, I have no idea what it means.” I got her owners manual out and looked up this little blue temp looking light. It seems this light comes on when the car is started cold, like it’s been sitting over night, to let the driver know the engine is cold… now, is this the most complete ‘idiot light’ you have ever heard of?? What could possibly be the point?
Why are cars so expensive? The big reason is the “Automotive Engineer I am Important Factor” which adds thousands of dollars to a vehicle’s cost.
In 2006-2007 there was a bunch of seat belt recalls on a number of vehicle Makes, hundreds of thousands of cars. We have had seatbelts since 1968… I would think seatbelts had to have been perfected 20 years ago! Guess what, it was a case of engineers making “Improvements”!
Engineers are the idiots those lights are named after.

So I’ve tried to like this annarbor.com… problem is some New York wizz bangers told some outa town folks (Introduced to us Ann Arborites as the annarbor.com execs who are really ‘into’ Ann Arbor) “Heh this is what’s happening and is soooo cool!” .
Ok, the little acorn logo… sorry it’s dumb, really dumb, best described as a french guy wearing a beret . But it has nothing to do with Ann Arbor! Is it possibly a hint that the annarbor.com people are really a front for the ACORN radicals???? Ann Arbor liberals are the “Ahhh gee” liberals, best described as Dweeb Liberals the “You should spend time with your fish” Liberals, not the super nutty Radical liberals.
Then the online version… “After the Jump” I know what this means but STOP IT , it’s dumb!
The free local contributers dump them! I want professionals telling me stuff. When I want drivel I read my own blog! Blah, Blah, Blah, Barf.
